In some cases, logistics and cost considerations require that thermoformed parts be produced at the point of use. Where appropriate, and upon special request, Tek Pak will develop custom precision thermoforming machinery for our customers to operate in their own factories. The machines we build are designed to produce the same custom parts that we’ve developed at our facilities in the US. We now have several custom machines operating in customer facilities in Europe, Asia and Latin America. We do not build for sale general-use thermoforming or carrier tape manufacturing equipment.

We have also developed custom carrier tape handling equipment like our line of MF-214 Manual Carrier Tape Feeders. In this case, we developed the feeder based on a customer request, and they urged us to openly market it. There are now hundreds of these feeders in use around the world.
