Tek Pak, Inc. has introduced a TIG-welding cavity repair service for aluminum mold cavities. Damaged cavities, including sharp corners or edges can be welded and re-machined to your specifications. By using a low heat system of repair there is no worry about cavity distortion due to high temperature cavity pre-heating. No loss in the strength of the cavity aluminum is encountered with our process. Build up of worn cavity edges from excessive stripper rubbing is not a problem.
