		Short-Run Production Our thermoforming presses (roll-fed, 24 x 30-inch platen) make production-caliber thermoforms. We stock a large variety of standard thermoplastics (PVC, APET, PETG, HIPS, PP, HDPE, ABS, etc.), so short production runs can be promptly scheduled. We also are ready to meet all your ESD requirements with conductive, static, dissipative and anti-static materials and coatings. Tek Pak does not produce thermoformed packaging in large volumes, but we do make short runs for the convenience of our customers. If you require high volumes of product, Tek Pak has thermoforming partners around the globe that will provide you with high-quality, ISO-certified products at competitive pricing.




		Precision Thermoforming Tek Pak has developed precision thermoforming technology to produce parts with the same level of intricacy and precision as injection molded parts. The lead time and cost savings associated with thermoforming over injection molding are substantial. For the most demanding applications, we have considerable experience with engineering and high-temperature resins like PBT, PC, PEI, PPE and PPO. The precision parts we produce are generally small in size (less than 100 mm x 100 mm) and cannot be produced by large-scale thermoforming equipment. Tek Pak precision thermoforms have gone into electronics, telecommunications, military, health care and medical applications.




		Laser Trimming Tek Pak can rapidly make intricate multi-level cuts into thermoformed and flat plastics using our 100 watt CO2 laser. Accurate and precise trimming is achieved by the small field of view (170 mm x 170 mm) and small spot size (0.2 mm). The state-of-the-art scan head reliably moves the beam as quickly as 2000 mm/s, which permits high-volume processing. In addition, our special processing method eliminates residue, which can be a problem for many plastics. We can cut plastics up to 1 mm thick. The beauty of laser trimming is that hard tooling is eliminated in exchange for programming. For many small precise thermoformed parts, laser trimming is the best, if not the only solution. 		Clean Room Processing Located in the research and development center is Tek Pak's ISO classified clean room available for all projects in need of a low particle environment.
