UPDATE As part of our new alliance with Black Pockets Industries (BPI), Tek Pak, Inc. is pleased to announce another C-Pak carrier tape products warehouse co-located in the BPI facility in Scottsdale, AZ. This new facility will provide a convenient location to service our customers in the Southwestern US and Mexico.

We are stocking a full line of open carrier tape, cover tapes, reels, moisture barrier bags and related products in Scottsdale, AZ produced by the world’s largest carrier tape manufacturer, C-Pak, located in Singapore. This is in addition to our Tek Pak line of custom and open stock carrier tape products.

Along with the 6,000 sf BPI facility in Scottsdale, AZ, Tek Pak occupies 27,000 sf in our Batavia, IL corporate location, nearly 11,000 sf in St. Charles, IL, which is our Research and Development Center, and 3,300 sf in our San Jose, CA warehouse. We now have sufficient space to provide an extensive inventory of part numbers so our customers do not have to wait on long lead times from overseas deliveries. A list of our immediately available part numbers is updated weekly and available on our website or via email upon request.

Tek Pak is offering the latest reel design from C-Pak, known as the EZ Reel. These reels are designed to reduce the total weight of the assembled reel with a large labeling area to meet the varied label size needs. The C-Pak reels offer a 3-piece snap together design. The reels are easily assembled by hand and are shipped unassembled. The locking mechanism is by means of latches on the hub which will hold the flanges together. Besides ease of assembly, the lightweight design also gives significant savings in shipping costs. Simply join two pieces of the EZ Flange with and EZ Hub of any width and you have a reel ready for immediate use.

The Advantage Twist & Click Reels are ideal for packaging your fragile components. The Twist-Lock Reels are manufactured from high-impact polystyrene construction, which offers superior protection for your devices. The Twist-Lock Reels are shipped in halves to minimize shipping costs and offer compact storage.

The Twist Lock Reels have an outside diameter of 13" (330mm) and a 1/2" (13mm) diameter arbor hole. Hub diameters include the standard 4" (102mm) hub suitable for most carrier tapes. Available hub widths include 4mm, 8mm, 16mm and 28mm. Any combination of these hub widths will combine to produce widths of 8, 12, 16, 24, 32, 44 and 56mm reels.

C-Pak Positive Formed Carrier Tapes

C-PAK offers a carrier tape that is exclusively designed to transport Bare Die, Bumped Die, Flip Chip, Chip-Scale Packages and BGA Components. The Positive Formed Carrier tape provides tight tolerances, which helps protect the part and reduce rotation of the part in the pocket. To ensure cleanliness of the carrier tape, it's manufactured and packaged in a Class 10,000 Clean Room. This ensures the carrier tape will be clean from ionic contaminants and clean from particles.
